i don't know what exactly is there to love... just the fact that he's 35 already makes me not like the signing but it's only a one year deal so it's not like he will be on the team for long
he's just not that good
part of the reason i don't like the signing is because winn isn't a terrible player, he can hit for average and steal some bases but overall he is a mediocre player, and when i think of randy winn i think of him as that "good" waiver-wire player in fantasy baseball
like after all the teams have done their draft and all the good players are taken, you look to the waiver wire if you need a replacement and randy winn is always on there and usually stands out as one of the best waiver wire players because he is sort of a 5-tool player but a mediocre one... like he looks good in crop of players that all suck, but you would never draft him as a starter because he's kind of garbage
so to me randy winn is one of those "best of the worst" kind of players, i wouldn't want him starting on my team (in real life or in fantasy) but if someone got hurt or you need a fill in he's a pretty good option

Cali i like the flexibilty this gives us next year. We didn't waste more money and years on a better player that we really don't want.

i mean in this market the organizations have the upperhand, there are a lot of 1 year low salary deals
like texas got vlad for 1 year 5.5 mil, thats a nice signing, so it's not really the salary or the length that i don't like with winn, i just think he's not that good
he does give us depth though, and i like that... not really sure how good his defense and arm are, plus he's getting up there in age so maybe he'll lose a step there too

i'm not saying it's awful, its just not anything thats really good, it's just eh...

No doubt I guess I just like what we didn't do more then what we did do...btw stfu and go watch Jersey Shore reruns!!!!
