westbrook parker and tomlinson all need to be looked at. maroney looks like a bust as a full time back but spelling him with one of those three might finally get him back to where he ws with Dillion

westbrook is hurt every year and tomlinson is just plain used up.

that is while being used as the feature back. they both might have use as a backup/3rd down back. both of which NE needs.

i doubt either one will take less money and lesser roles when i'm sure some team out there is dumb enough to gamble that they're not done yet.

well i can always hope. the pats have way to many holes to fill and the draft isnt the place to deal with all of them. but i worry thats what they are gonna do. i mean the need a pass rusher, OLBers another safety worth a damn, a 3rd reciever and a running back with fualk looking less and less likely.

with the plethora of RBs that should get filled even if its a one year bandaid.

What do you think about Thomas Jones?

1402 yards last year.

hell cost WAY to much sadly. and hell want a starting job. peppers was the only FA i wanted them to give a blank check.

however IF he wants to play for a contender and take a little less i would be interested maroney is in his last year so idk.

i doubt LT goes to new england after the stuff he said after that afc championship lost to the pats a couple years back
he's not going to play for belichick and i doubt belichick would want him
westbrook would be a good fit for them because of how good he is as a receiving rb

hey is this year going to be the last year for randy moss on the patriots?
god i hope so, then i can root for the pats to get to the superbowl again if it ever comes down to them or the chargers

yeah it just sucks that all the other teams in the afc west suck so the chargers are going to get handed the division on a silver platter every year
they're probably going to be like the braves of the 90s where they win the division and make the playoffs every year, you gotta figure they win at least 1 championship
but then again the eagles used to make the playoffs like every year and didn't win anything...

ok you made me look it up, 18/166 which is 9.2 yards per catch, still not amazing but who cares? if you're a cornerback and you give up 18 fucking catches for 166 yards you got owned, thats ridiculous, i remember watching that game and coming into that game i was a little worried about cromartie, during and after the game i was just laughing at him, he looked like a fool
cutler and marshall abused the hell out of him, so he is prone to getting dominated
he's not a shutdown corner like revis or champ bailey

Haha, 18 catches in one game. That's like less than what Asomugha allows in a season. I'm exaggerating a bit, but it isn't a whole lot more than 25, IIRC. Not sure if I'd still consider Champ a shutdown corner. Outside of Revis and Aso, not sure I would consider anyone else a shutdown corner going into this year.

How about Spiller in the draft? Getting one of the older, washed up players(LT, Westbrook) would only be temporary, 1-2 year, fixes. Spiller, on the other hand, could be there for a while.
